This is my style model for my magazines. I like the close up image as it is able to portray a strong message without having to have a lot of accompanying text. I like the font that has been used for the headline of the magazine as it appears modern which is appropriate for a current affairs magazine. I like that a cover line is in a box underneath the headline as it is creating another feature to the page which makes it looks more appealing. The use of the other cover lines being displayed in unison with each other allows for them to appear professional and appealing. I like that each cover line has a heading which will grab the reader's attention. The use of having the headings of the cover lines in a different colour adds to their ability to stand out on the page. By only using a few colours on the page, this allows for the page to appear professional and effective. The use of the colour green on the page allows for connotations of environment to be created which allows for meaning to be generated on the page.
I will follow this page layout when creating my own magazines. I will alter aspects of the layout when appropriate, in order to meet the needs of my magazine and audience.
